Wider track width on the front of a '70 'Cuda ????????

Looking for some advice and/or another solution,
I'm currently trting to mock up some Viper wheels on my '70 'Cuda. The fronts are 18" x 10.5.
The problem i have is at full droop the wheel rubs the upper control arm when turning,  I currentley have 2" adapter spacers installed.
does anyone know if somebody makes a longer upper and lower control arms for a Cuda to widen the track width?

I have lots of upper and lower stock arms for E bodies, thinking of extending a set to try.

I use A-Body lower control arms on mine. They are only 3/16 longer than a E-Body.  Failing that later B-Bodys are longer still but use a different ball joint/steering arm set up. For the uppers I'm using Hotchkis UCA that use adjustable rod ends.

Are the hochkis smaller in size.
thinking im going to have to try and find a 3" spacer.

Not sure but they don't rub on mine and I have 18X11" rims. I assume it's the back spacing that's giving you grief?

Ya, probably. Just ran out and checked, looks like it's around 8-1/2"!

I doubt the fenders would fit in stock form.

Fender is the least of my worries.

Going to certain tubular UCA's can buy you the room you need. I had interference on my Duster at full lock and droop and replaced my stock UCA's with a set of magnumforce bushed UCA's, problem solved. The tubular UCA's that are "V" shaped are narrower than the stockers.

That said, you're not going to fit anything wider than a 275 up front without fender modifications. Maybe a 285 on some cars with some brands of tire. Bigger than that and you're cutting, flaring, etc.

Not to mention the 6 bolt hub arrangement.

Short of spacers, I think you looking at a fair amount of custom fab work. Either you're making custom arms to get the length, or your adapting late B arms and the associated fab work with lower ball joints, strut rods, and steering arms.

Its not impossible, but its not a bolt on deal either.

You could build a set of 'cuda fenders for him Brad! Then convince him to make his 'cuda look like Gurney's. Then the two of you go on a SCCA nostalgia tour.

I may need to have a set of rear fenders like Gurney's to fit those 19" x 13" Rims!!!!, but that's another Post.

You could make the Dakota spindle work if your hell-bent on the Viper rims?

Went to the wrecker yesterday, looks like the the dakota spindle might work. Only thing is the steering arm is on the front for rack & pinion. Do you think I could flip sides so the steering arm is he back? This would also mean the brake caliper would be at the front as opposed to the back. Thoughts? I'll post a picture later. I did score a nice 2003 Durango rear diff w/ disc brakes though.
