    Ya .. the weather ... We are only 2 hours south ... with all BS weather and rain past 2 weeks in this region .. plus now til then .... I'm wagering (hoping lol ) a respite on bad rain .. maybe sprinkling in early AM to cool off ....

    Especially after dragging the Challenger 580 miles to Barrie for the Moparfest a month ago in Mississauga ... to be rained out at 45 degrees F .... weather God's owe us a favor ...  :grinyes:

    Look forward to meeting everyone and seeing Brad again ... we are staying at Residence Inn Harrisburg in Carlisle (points thing) ... I think very close to grounds - anyone else there? ... but will try to get out to Cumberland hotel most of you are at Sat night!

    We are arriving Wed night .... will go to local event Thur night .... any early comers like us let us know ....  :burnout:

    I'm just thinking...my hotel is now $130/night :22yikes: ....That ham sandwich under the bleachers is now $6.15 CDN :-\  hate to think what the strawberry smoothie is going to cost :crying:

    I found a sausage guy that is always in the vendors area he throws on some tomato sauce...damn. I can taste it already.

    My favorite stop every year is the model cars. I always pick up a couple. Last time it was a lil red express and a Polara A990. however with the exchange rate those are going to be 130 CAD.

    I'm northwest of Allentown it's about an 1 1/2hr ride for me. I usually walk through the gate a round 8 am. Hope to put some faces to names this year. :2thumbs:

    Funny you say that....I haven't built a model car in 20 years most likely, but every year at Carlisle I would pick up whatever was "new"....I have about 50-60 unbuilt kits right now and my 13 year old son could care less...

                                     On my 10th birthday mom and dad gave me a 62 Vette model car kit. When I opened that box and started assembling it something snapped in my brain. Been hopelessly in love with cars since.

    Hey all

    Will be there thursday thru sunday (as planned) with me arriving first on thursday ....

    For whatever reason we always seem to miss the lunch (its usually because I am mired in parts hunting)...LOL...so we will just stop by and say hi at some point!   :bigsmile:

    Did the dinner last year and it was a blast -- It was just me and the boys last year........We may do the dinner again this year -- depends on what the wife says cause she may be too tired.....and we all know "happy wife happy life"....LOL....and it waaaaas a bit of a worry driving back to our shippensburg hotel that late afterwards....so the best I can say is maybe......

    Will there be room this year?   I know that it was a tight squeeze last year........
