The one thing I like is the rear valance and exhaust tips. I prefer cuda tips through the valance but it looks good.
The stripe and the door handles...  :puke:

The Foose fishtail wheels and removing the gran coupe badging killed that car.  I was disappointed.

The Foose fishtail wheels and removing the gran coupe badging killed that car.  I was disappointed.

Along with the side markers, door handles, rear valance, black paint job and anything that was there when grandma bought the car.

But the gran coupe badging is a really good point.

Pretty much ruined the Cuda IMHO.

I wonder if the couple is divorced yet.  :smilielol: I mean the wife was pissed off that they was taking the cuda then she gets a different "car" in return.  :swear:

Well first I'd like to say that I'm a huge fan of Foose, obviously talented if you were to have him do a car like YOU wanted instead of being left to his own interpetation :clueless: That being said,a few weeks back a guy from a couple towns over brought his car from Overhaulin to our Saturday donut gathering. He was really happy with the car as a whole but gave me a little insider info. His car wasn't really rough to start with, but they went completely through it,gave him a big block ect.But at the time of the reveal on the show the car didnt run and the seats and some interior pieces were not bolted down. After the reveal the car sat for a few weeks at the reveal sight and then the show grabbed the car to finish it before returning it.Anybody care to guess how long it was gone.....?The owner said that from the time they did the reveal until the time he took possession was 14 months  :scared: On a side note he saw the chrome bill for just the front and back bumpers, almost 4g's.I guess there was some work to be done on them as they were smoothed and sectioned before chroming. The guy made it sound like it wasn't a complete free ride, although most of the stuff had been sponsored.Typical reality tv though,as it was roughly the same when I raced on Pinks Allout in 2009.Not everything is as it seems.Still good bang for the buck though I guess  :dunno:

I always had a feeling that most cars weren't done when revealed.

Foose eff's up EVERYTHING he touches.

He jumped the shark about 20 years ago. Possibly 5 years before he even started.

A 5 year old kindergarten kid could "design" better than this a$$hat. All he does is ruin cars. He should stick to his fugly wheels.

Case in point - there was a magazine article a few years ago where some rich dude wanted a car to match his rich watch. Foose butchered a nice cuda and slathered brown paint on it, hoping that it would blend into the background and no one would notice the $1000,0000 spent on lengthening the front end by 3 foot and other hideous "mods"

If he even came near my '88 rusted out, crusty, dilapidated Suburban, I would kick his hiney. He could screw up something as simple as a popsicle stick.

You might take notice that NO MAJOR car company has hired him to design their new cars.

None of the boutique builders ever do designing for the OEMs. The Big 3 have their own departments and 100s of engineers to do that for them.

Foose's taste isn't for everyone, but enough people like it or he wouldn't be hired to build cars. I seem to recall a large % of members on here did not have very nice things to say about Johnson Hot Rod Shop's build of the G-Force Cuda either, but they are still building plenty of cars. Same with Ring Bros, Steve Strope, Smittys, Fesslers, Kindig It, or any other  bigger name shops out there. Some don't mess with basic lines, some are willing to chop them up. If you chosing a builder, you need to do your research to see who fits your taste. If your getting  a $100k worth of free work as is done on Overhauling, you had beeter be in tune with what they are going to do to your car or don't apply for the show. Simple as that.

If some rich guy wants to hire a builder to turn his '70 Cuda into a whoop dee or his '69 Barracuda into a Superbird looking land speed racer, who cares. Its their cars, their cash. We aren't asked to subsidize it and if we don't like it, turn the channel.

I did not like the wheel diameter that much but I liked the car he has over all. I loved the color. Imo, he has done some beautiful Mopars. He is not doing restorations. Go watch that idiot on Graveyardcarz if that's what blows your dress up ;

The Ring Brothers rock, as does Steve Strope. They are classy. Subtle touches, hints and upgrades. Haven't checked into the others mentioned.
As noted, many like Foose style. I am not a fan.
Also, as noted. The factory got it right the first time.
I compare it to watching a remake of your favorite movie. Except beautiful pristine cars, some quite rare and valuable, aren't destroyed in the process.
