Bottom line, the owner seemed happy but if that particular Gran Coupe is originally a 383 car with (optional on Plymouth e-bodies) rallye dash...  :dunno:  I'd likely go much closer to original - in this case - and if she wanted fat tires? 17" chrome Magnum 500 style wheels  :thinkerg:

I think the purple looked sharp with the white hockey stick.  It seems they either got off really easy since the car was already in great shape, or their budget is running low.  Barely did anything to the engine (painted it and a new air cleaner), left the interior stock, sanded (not media blast) and painted with minor body work (flattened the side markers and door handles), and RMS suspension front and back.  Usually it is a major restoration, but not this time.

And here I just spent money to put my parking lights back in :faint: .The previous owner shaved them in the 80's and I had the body shop remove the welded in patches so I could install some once I find a set for decent money lol.Breaks the purple up I thought.White hockey looks awesome though.Wife's trying to get me to install white on mine now instead of black after seeing this one.Even the red pinstripe looks good  .Somewhat of a rare car that looked pretty complete to Fooseify  :dunno: The latest  girl is a UFC Octagon girl, and for the first few episodes seemed kinda rude to Chip.Seems better now.

Well, I started to lose appreciation for the cuda in the show last night when they did the body work. As in filling in the side markers and door handles. I'm sure that knocked the value down quite a bit IMHO.
It was good to see the vinyl top go as I'm not a big fan of those.
I liked the purple but the two tone ruined it for me.
I'm not much on the white hockey stick. IMHO no hockey stick would have looked better.
And I believe they said it was a 440 which sounded good.

Overall, I wasn't impressed. I was hoping for original looking makeover.

I know, I know. But when grandma bought it new and it stayed with the family, I think keeping it all original would have made the story complete.

The owner's husband said to leave it black, and Foose agreed, however changed gears and didn't tell him.  What's he gonna say at the reveal..."I don't like it?".  I mean I would...but he faked he liked it.

So do Gran Coupes have a cardboard headliner?I noticed they pulled it in one
piece. They make repops of those? That would be easier then putting my stock one back in with bows.
