All GC's got the overhead consolette, with exception of convertibles.
It is a one piece set up.  hard to find a used one in good condition.

As I recall, there was a fella making fiberglass reproductions instead of cardboard.

I'd love to get one.  And they add a few features to the roof of your car.  Slick option.

Foose did an early Mopar first couple of seasons and at the end of the show said Mopar guys don't call me that I 'messed' with this car. I am sure they didn't replace the engine as it was numbers matching, but if they did an uproar and if they didn't well...... And listening to the posts about color, filling in light markers etc, I see why Mopars are few and far between on the show. I bet they did a Grand coupe as if they did a real 'Cuda-hate mail. I don't agree about all the decisions, but they take a car and make it a one of one. I'd be honored to have my car done, and I love stock Mopars, but like this car in the before pic more than the after pic

I'm not a Chip fan, he takes the cars to far away from originality. One car I did like was a 64 Fury 383/4speed. It was very nicely done with not to many mods. And I HATE his wheels.  But I'm a purist.   :horse:

I liked Rogans sick fish,  mainly because it was pretty radical,  ugly wheels though...   I kinda liked that brown / tan one, mainly because of the color choice and the awesome enginebay ,  ugly wheels though...
I can`t say I like this one...  I don`t see going black to purple, and sure as heck not combined with a flat black rallye hood.... for me flat black is AAR only  :dunno:  The pinstripe on the headerpanel completely breaks up the design of the front, and the wheels look great... not.   wow, I`m glad it`s my opinion and not my car   ::)    at least he has one  :misbehaving: :smilielol:

I wonder if there`s a behind the scenes on this one..?   delete wife, drive wheels off, go find Alan`s address

just me but,  don't care for the pinstripe or the wheels, but then again everything foose does looks the same in the end. But when the discovery network is paying your bills I guess you can do anything and get away with it

 :iagree:
Yep, my thoughts exactly.

And it's a damn shame being it's been in the same family since new.

I wonder if the family is talkin to a lawyer?
I sure would be if it was my grandmother's car and I didn't agree to that ugly butt overhaul.
I would be absolutely pissed off.
And I bet they were... behind the scenes.

I'm with you but I suspect the lawyers pretty much have them sign their lives away before Foose ever touches the car.

I heard a long time ago that the family is financially responsible in some form to the build...not sure if it's true or not
