Usually I can find something on the most hideous car build that I think is cool or liked the way something was done. Not this one. I hate everything about it. I usually like Foose's designs, or a least a few things about them. Not this one. My wife was watching with me and never got past the wheels. Foose's perspective on the 'Cuda is different than mine, but mine is probably different from yours!
Removing the bumperettes and leaf spring bump outs makes these car look too wide and skinny in the back. Keeping these helps to "chunk" up the rear. That's why I added 1" width to my bumper, to help the proportions. Same goes with removing the markers and door handles. These cars start to look to0 long and "skinny" in profile. Those items help to "square" up the car and again, add a little chunk. I've seen the drip rails and trim removed, and this just adds to the disproportions. I like my car because it looks like a muscle car. I'm fine with body mods that enhance the original design, but when it completely changes the look and proportions, I'm out.
With all that said, you guys will probably hate the new mods to my 'Cuda. I have been working with Ben Hermance on renderings to try and stay with the "enhance" theme and maintain the original design elements, but I may end up on an island with Foose with everyone hating our cars....
