73 barracuda 318 a/c car blower motor
« on: January 23, 2015 - 04:12:52 PM »
Trying to figure out the blower motor on my p.o.s.
Blower motor works. Jumped 12 volts threw the switch and got low and high like that. Just can not find where the blower motor is to get 12volts from. I only got 12volts on a red three wire connector on the black wire. I thought this was for a/c.
Help Please.
Its just a little 340 with a miss

Well did some reading on here and think I got everything figured out. I replaced my vacuum switch and now got voltage to my blower motor. Now come to find out I think I need a blower motor. Works when I run 12volts from battery but the wire to blower does not have that much. Due to speeds of the blower. Had ten volts and no good. Will pull blower out tomorrow and go threw it to see if I can get it going. Car been sitting way to long and some really did a number to the wiring.

If you run 12v to the motor and it runs its good. It gets the different speeds through the resistor on the heater box.

Rich G- I can not find 12 volts on the inside of the car on the back of the climate controls and also at the heater box resistors and it reads the same voltage at the blower motor.
