clutch fork

Hello all

I am half way through my Hurst 5 speed conversion on my challenger.  I went to put on the bell housing and trans and the clutch fork is way off. I am starting to think that the ebay seller I bought the clutch fork from sent me a small block fork not one for the big blocks. Is there anyway to know if its a big or small block fork? There are no numbers stamped in to it or identifying marks.

SB and BB are the same. At least I am using the same one from when I had a SB. You may have got an 'A' body fork though.

thanks DoDJ, you must be right I used the A body pivot that came with the bell housing and it fit. thanks again.

If you use the A body fork and pivot, it will work but it will not be quite perfect. I believe you will be able to push the throwout bearing too far forward. The levers of the fork (either side of the pivot) are not the right length.
