Herlitz? As in John Herlitz? Is it really you? I thought that you had crossed over to the after-life?
Anyway, after going to see the Hemi E-body convertible display at the 2015 MCACN show in Chicago, my curiosity is really piqued as to where the "missing" cars are. The most commonly accepted number of Hemi Challenger convertibles is 12 cars. So far I only know of 10 of the 12 and they are (running total in parenthesis):
The Yellow Jacket / Diamante (1)
The EF8 car of TBC (The Brother's Collection) (2)
The unrestored EV2 car of ?? near Toronto (3)
The two FJ5 cars of Wade Ogle and Brett Torino (5)
The five FC7 cars of TBC, Greg Nelson, Dave Blake, Kevin Suydam (I have him as owning Rene Delisle's old car 221640 but Kevin may not actually have it anymore) and ?? (10)
That brings the total to 10 cars with two still unknown as to where they are (at least to me)? Can anyone enlighten me about the two cars that I am missing? With as broad and knowledgeable member base that we have here at C-C.com someone has to know something about them. Anyone?
While I'm at it, does anyone have anymore info on the FC7 car that was at one time owned by David Christenholz and restored by Apex Autosports in Wisconsin. I don't have a lot of info on that car and am looking to fill in some holes in my notes.
