Got my new Barracuda Convertible today!
« on: January 29, 2015 - 08:16:40 AM »
I've been looking on and off for a long time for a 71 Barracuda convertible and I finally found one. I accepted delivery today with snow on the ground and 11 degrees!

It's originally a 318 car but now has a 383. It's white on white with a blue interior. I have to look into it further, but it appears to be a column shift bucket seat car, I didn't even think that  combo was possible.

It has a nice broadcast sheet so I will probably be needing some decoding help. More to come!

Nice! Great way to start the year. My first Mopar was a -70 Cuda, 383 magnum, it had bucket seats and a column shifter. Car was only 9 years old when I got it, I don't think the seats had been added later.

White looks good

Thanks for the great comments Guys! And thanks for confirming that buckets seats with no console was available.

Here are some more pics. It's an older resto that needs some TLC.

A black and blue interior? That can't be original.  :clueless:

Neat ride!  I have not seen to many cars that have the body side molding still on them, thats pretty cool.

Yea the interior is not original like that...., be easy to switch it to black I guess if the panels are nice.
PM me what you paid for it if you don't care to share publicly....
