    Yes I agree this season has been much better. They've gotten rid of most of the silly nonsense.

    i must agree about the non-sence  it is good to see a show about mopars i wanted to see them reconstuct that orange 71 440 6 barrel cuda. after watching an episode i see they are sending that shell to amd and having them do it. the hole point of me watching that show was to see that,and how much of the original car was left. maybe the owner is better off this way. from what i saw that poor cuda was better off this way.

    My wife's cousin is having a car done at GYC right now and he asked me for my opinion before he committed to it.
    I can't speak to anyone else's deals but Bob agreed to a set price/contract with Mark up front and knew what the cost would be.
    TorRed 70 340 Cuda with Go Wing, Black Vinyl top, Louvers. Has all the right codes on the fender tag... So far it looks really sweet!

    Just noticed I posted this reply on the wrong thread, deleted it and re-posted it here...  :clueless: not sure how I managed that  :dunno:

    Nope. Stock suspension on Bob's EV2 TorRed 340 Cuda
    But there is an FE5 Rallye Red 70 383 Cuda they are doing. Both have Hockey Sticks and V1X Tops
    Don't know what is under the 383 car...

    Did you watch that poor Daytona? They actually thought they could restore it! Anyway it's nice that there is a MOPAR only (so far) car show. Although I'm sure that they are charging a lot of  :money:, how much would approximately a full ground up restoration of an E body cost ? I know that it's difficult to say, but what would an average price be?

    There was not 1 piece of that Daytona more than a foot off the ground.  I'm glad they chose not to re-body the entire car.

    I think someone should restore that daytona. At least there will be one more in the world. If I remember right there's a 71 hemicuda convert out there like that. Plum crazy. All they found was like one door and the firewall. Still a multi million dollar car.

    Out of curiosity, I had emailed Worman for a price on the Challenger since it was for sale but never heard back.
    Maybe the restoration ended up costing more than what the car is worth? I wonder if Worman ended up having to sell it for less than the cost of the restoration.

    :iagree: I believe the restoration cost more than the car, although I'm not familiar with the prices, I think the Challenger was rough, so a lot of cash was needed. Also I think that Mr Worman is cashing extra on fame, I don't blame him, otherwise we may not have a strictly MOPAR show (and mainly E-bodies, in my opinion) , too many ford and chevy shows out there  :poopoke:... And because of that fame, he doesn't tell his prices, so he attracts more clients and still be competitive  :dunno:...

    Most definitely he sold the Challenger for less then the cost of the restoration. :2cents:
