Tools and equipment catagory
« on: February 03, 2015 - 03:49:01 PM »
Just wondering if we could have a tools/equipment section . New tool finds, tools we have made, new product releases. Even tools/equipment for sale/trade. Just thought if it was all in one section it could be helpful. Any thoughts on this   :feedback:  Could even include " what do I use to fix this "

I agree with you on this, please make a section for tools. Young guys like me do things the hard way sometimes cause we did not know there was a tool to help out.
Its just a little 340 with a miss

I agree with the idea.   It would be great to have a place to list and share tools that are unique to rebuilding.   Over the past year, I have purchased a ball joint socket, a "wedge" for removing the pilot bushing for the transmission input shaft, a torsion bar removal tool which I didn't end up using at all, and a trunk torsion rod tool adjusting tool which I haven't used yet.   I wouldn't necessarily want to sell these, but I wouldn't have any problem loaning them out to other members.

I agree, being able to loan a tool to a member that needs it one time, and he can't really afford to buy one  :2thumbs:

Sounds like a good idea.  The "Everything Else" category gets overused and this would help that.

The Tools And Equipment section has been added. It is located just below the Current Events section...    :2thumbs:
