Cylinder heads would have been a certain part number for all 70 440's but not unique to your car or it's VIN

Are you planning on restoring it back to stock ?

Yes, thats the plan. There have been some mods done to it along the way, but nothing that shouldn't be easily repaired.

If it were me and I was restoring it to original I would get the heads back. But hey, that's just me.

906 heads , no serial # on them but it is your call if you want the original castings or not  or just use  similar 906 castings

If you don't want to get the original heads on the car right now, my advice would be to keep your eye on them and not let them get away in the future.  Just in case.  Even though I replace a lot of parts to improve the cars performance, I hold onto the original parts so that someone in the future can return it to original.  :2cents:
