Steering column upper bearing housing remover

I made this when I couldn't get the bearing housing off. Just used an old plate retainer, deep socket, 3/8 -16 nut and a long bolt. It ain't purdy but worked like a charm.
Anybody ever needs it just pay postage back/forth I'll loan it to you.

Lots of time the tool you make out of necessity works better than anything you can buy.

Yea, I was a heavy equipment field service mechanic, when your out in the middle of nowhere you have to find a way to make do. Neccessity is the mother of invention

That's what I need, I mever did get it off to replace the ignition switch in the column lol so I have the switch sitting on the floor, needless to say, can't leave my car unlocked in public hahahaha
