Who makes an accurate fuel sending unit?

I've isolated my fuel gauge problem to my sending unit. I know there have been lots of problems with various aftermarket sending units. Dixie Restorations is out of the Chrysler vendor produced units and doesn't plan on getting more any time soon. Who makes a decent sending unit for a '71 cuda, 3/8" outlet?

I bought one from Vans and it has been good for accuracy. I did have to tweak the float arm just a bit so it didn't hit the fuel pickup, but other than that, all good. been 3 years I think.

I got mine from classic industry's and my fuel gauge works good as far as I know. Still have not filled the tank all the way up to check that part.

Randy @ Dixie Restorations contacted the original supplier & had a small run of A,B & E senders done.. I need to buy a few myself as back ups but since currently my stuff works it hasn't been a high priority....

Last I heard from them they were out of 3/8 and may not be getting any more.

As of January 24th, Dixie is out of the 3/8" OEM units and does not anticipate any soon. Apparently the vendor is difficult to deal with.

Pretty sure I have a good used one laying around somewhere  . . it was a 5/16 and was pulled when I switched to a stroker big block and pulled the 340 out.  Worked fine when removed . . . .

I asked this question recently and people said they had good luck with Spectrum. I bought one in Dec. from Rock Auto, with the 5% discount, it was $63.00 including shipping. They do offer 3/8" part # FG67B.
Just looked and the price has gone up about $4.

we have 5/16 , 3/8, and 1/2 same as the spectra unit from the same manufacture.
