Help, 1970 'Cuda - Need a Measurment
« on: February 08, 2015 - 09:18:38 PM »
Well had a productive weekend, Got my driver side A pillar and roof bracing welded on.
I need to confirm a measurement as shown in the pictures.
Can somebody measure this point from the drivers door to the pass door over the windshield??
Thanks in Advance.

Wow, i cant be the only one with a '70 Cuda?
I know it not an accurate measurement, but last time i had the front end togeather my front fenders were about 3/4" to wide at this point.  Im using goodmark fenders and an original hood. Im thinking the tops of the aftermarket fenders are slightly wider than oem.
Can someone get me a quick measurment?

Also remember the door can adjust inwards as well so it will be different between each car

Thanks a lot,  :2thumbs:, you're actually narrower than mine.
I'm trying to set all the door gaps around 3/16" +-.
Do you also have about a 3/4 gap at the bottom of the door to the rocker? In repairing A pillar damage on the drivers side. My passengers door has the same 3/4" gap so that's what I went by.
Cheers

Just to confirm, mine is also 64 and 3/4". Maybe a hair wider, but I was trying to measure it solo So might be a bit off.
