70 challenger under dash trim passenger side

looking for the trim piece for a 70 challenger under dash trim passenger side. its a long piece. think it was used on 70 to 74 e bodies w/ac also had map light switch that would attach to it. thanks

Dave I don't think they're talking about the same piece...I would be SHOCKED if the piece they're looking for is reproduced.

They are looking for the PASSENGER side lower dash trim for an A/C equipped E Body.  This piece is close to two feet long and screws to the bottom of the dash frame to further hide the large A/C heater box.

Those are very hard to find. They are almost always broken.

You got it right Alan. That's the piece I'm interested in. Mine has a couple screw holes put in by a PO. If I could find a good one I'd replace it.

Come to think of it....I wouldn't mind one either....It really "finishes-up" up the dash. I'm building a resto-mod with Vintage Air added, and this would help hide it.....

The part number could be 2984953.  I have one with "cav 2 9668 and another with cav  96683. neither is for sale until I finish my 70 chall dash.

They were made in every interior color, so you guys need to specify black or whatever color you need. I have a super nice green one that took me forever to find for my car.
