Nice job, good to have it all one color.

That was the plan, it's not perfect but it was cost effective for what I wanted.

Well it appears the paint gauntlet has been thrown down... :stirpot:

What I thought was tiger striping on my roof was the shadow from my garage door track!

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Are you referring to the SEM aersol or hot rod black? The stuff out of the spray can seems to scratch somewhat easy when first shot but dried pretty hard. The hot rod black I sprayed out of a gun with reducer and hardener, doesn't seem to easily scratched for me?

I scratched one corner near my trunk when fitting the lid but I wasn't careful and really hit it good  :banghead:

I used the stuff out of the can on the bumper mounts...several engine parts..all of which I have scratched...Im going to redo most of the stuff in the single stage when I paint my engine bay..just waiting on a nice day..its been crappy here!!!  Ive definitely learned a lot as I go as far as painting parts...live and learn...

That sucks about the trunk...always something!!

Will start updating more often now. I ran into a snag with housework and freeing up funds. Started wiring everything up with new harnesses/msd, gauges pulled for speedhut install, qa1 shocks installed so the suspension is done. Also ordered a 4 speed from Jamie at Passon after finding out the one I had was going to cost me more than just buying one from him. Plan is to have everything ready by the time I have the trans so I can get her running.

Installed my champion radiator, for anyone interested I used wiper motor bushings from the local parts store and they worked awesome:
