A few pages back I have the wiring diagram I drew up with help of lulurocks. I followed that and it worked perfectly. As far as fitment, there I had gauge pods 3d printed them glued them to the backside of the instrument panel. That's in a previous post as well  :thumbsup:

Good looking! 3d printer part will be hard for me haha.

I used a company online called shapeways. Was surprisingly reasonable in cost and turnaround time.

Put led bulbs in the tail lights until I upgrade to full led panels. The flasher is CEC EF32RL found on Amazon. I needed to reverse the stock wiring for the flasher and all worked well. A bit brighter than stock bulbs.




After toying with building my own exhaust, I decided I wanted to drive the car sooner than later and went with a tti x pipe. They also had adapters for my hedman headers. Wish I went this way sooner, complete bolt up job, fitment is fantastic with the 70-72 reverse rod. I'll post more once it's all in.

Had to reverse because of that particular flasher? Or do you have to do that for all of the electronic flashers?

Not 100% sure but I'be read it in quite a few forums that people had to do this to make them work. When I kept the wires in the original location, the flasher did nothing. I've read so many posts about what flasher worked and which didn't, figured I'd share one that did  :woo:

So went to fire the motor for the first time and it won't crank. The starter is making a zinging type noise. Sounds like it's spinning but not engaging the flywheel? Here's a video:


It's a brand new mini starter off a ram. Maybe I put it in wrong? If so I'll yank the starter tomorrow...

you need to get under the car and see if the starter gear is being blocks or not able to go forward. I have had this issue with the starter hanging up on the cover or not aligned correctly.

I have a quicktime bellhousing and it's not visible, the starter is covered up where it engages the flywheel. So I have any other options? I'm planning on pulling it and bench testing it but that doesn't solve if it's being blocked

After researching this issue, sounds like it's common for the starter not to align perfectly on a QuickTime bell causing the same symptoms

it sounds line your starter is working fine, just not hitting the flywheel. I believe I would have put an inspection hole in that bell housing, but hind sight is 20/20 so there is that.

My Mopar mini starter wasn't compatible with my QuickTime bellhousing - it wouldnt line up with the flywheel. I think I ended up getting a Powermaster unit that according to TTI was compatible with their 2" headers.

I used the 9523. Link: https://m.summitracing.com/parts/pwm-9523

This unit was listed as being compatible with the 2" TTI's. I'm not sure if they are compatible with your headers though? Also, a little pricey compared to the Mopar unit.

I spoke with Ron, founder of Quicktime today. Real nice guy. Was kind of at a loss why the starter I had wasn't working as everything sounds right. I have a mini out of a 98 ram. He mentioned they always use a mini out of a 2004 ram. Anyone know if there is a difference? The parts store lists 2 different part #s. Is it possible the 2004 has slightly larger diameter bendix gear? I have one in order for tomorrow so I'll take some measurements and see if it works. If not, guess I'll be taking a hole saw to my bellhousing to create a sight hole.
