Congratulations.  It's quite the accomplishment.

Nice... 15x8 fronts with 4.5 bs, 15x10 rear with 5.5 bs... this combo should be a-ok for fitment.   Tire diameters will determine fender clearances.   (You could go to 245-60 easily for the f).   275-60 rear is a tall tire... may have to flush the lips, maybeeee a slight ~1/4 spacer for clearance from the leafs.    You could also try the BFG 295-50 for rear.... or else, just have 15x8 f/r... 245-60 f, 275-60 r.

I use 15x8 f/r minilites with ~4-3/8 bs, pushes the rim out ~1/8 ",.... 255-60 f, 275-60 r..... street/hwy cruising setup.... very good ride/comfort/handling.

Drove it to work last Friday. So far have logged 100 miles, still working out some leaks but no major issues. It pulls like a freight train in low rpm, real hard to stay out of the pedal until break in is complete but behaving so far...

  I may put chrome bumpers eventually. The ones on there now are original to the car and pretty rough on the inside.Will decide before I get it painted professionally. Then it's time for the stripes from challengergary

Progress has been slow, was able to put about 200 miles on the engine before tucking it away for the winter here in NJ. The first snow fell last week.

Going to buy aluminum fabricated valve covers. What do you guys think, keep them polished or paint them red? I'm leaning towards red to add a little pop to the engine bay as there is so much black the motor gives the illusion of being small!!

Why not do a combo? Black body and red stripes if you go for Edelbrock (Elite II) or Mopar Performance valve covers. Body and fins in black, the "valleys" between fins in red.
