I've had both style truck-lite LEDs in the Jeep I just sold. While they were very good lights they looked -extremely- out of place on the Barracuda. So I sold the lights after I sold the Jeep. The <5% of the time I'll be driving my car at night is not worth the aesthetics hit by running LEDs. 
I agree with you on how they look. I've seen them on some pro touring type early Camaro's and it looked ok somewhat to me. Something different and not a good fit for all taste's that's for sure. I have a set of halo's H4's for my Challenger and didn't use them because it just didn't suit the look I was going for....
