QA1 Tubular K Frame

I've read a few threads on here about the QA1 tubular k frame but most were before it was available and/or limited info on the actual user review of the product. Has anyone been running this for some time and how do you like it? Quality of construction, performance etc.

Hot Rod magazine did an install article on a 73 challenger last month and it looked good. I'm debating going this route and mixing with the hothckis tvs kit. I'm liking the fact that it would give me the ability to build the setup out of the car.

I do not have one but have read the feedback from some of the Hotchkis team that are running Mopars. They have said that after doing the analysis and construction, they ended up with a piece that weighs almost as much as the stock K, but it provides more run under the car than the factory unit. However, I don't think any of them are using it in their cars yet. Since these cars are the owners and not the companies cars, I don't know if that is an influence on their decision to (not) use them.

I like the idea of being able to build your suspension a piece at a time and not have to drop 4K all at once. I think its a great option vs the RMS or Magnumforce stuff that is crazy expensive.

That's what I'm liking as well. My plan is a full front suspension overhaul with hotchkis and qa1 parts. So I like the idea of buying the tubular K frame, hotchkis parts, etc. and building the majority of the front suspension outside of the car, limiting down time. I also have a big block being built and a 4 speed transmission so I'm thinking I could fully assemble all components on the tubular k-frame setup for an easier install once that day comes.
