73 challenger trunk lock broke
« on: February 16, 2015 - 11:49:53 PM »
The pot metal housing that the cylinder goes into broke.  The tab that holds spring that holds the rod cracked.  Any ideas on replacements or just use a roll pin in it?   I've got a roll pin in it now and ground it flush but would like to make it the factory way again......

You should be able to get a new lock easily , Briggs & stratton made the originals , Standard often has them
Part # TL 101 on Rock Auto site for $18
