1970 production numbers by color

Is there anyone who can help me find the production numbers for a 1970 Challenger RT/SE?  Mine is in Dark Burnt Orange (K5) with cloth dark burnt oranage interior.  She has a 383 Magnum with a 727 torqueflite.  I tried to attach pics but was unable.  I do have some pics on "For E-Bodies Only" under the same user name, susanrae.  Thanks

Galien Govier offers a production numbers per color and option combination portfolio for a substantial fee. He has all the Chrysler records. Allpar.com states:

Meanwhile, in 1970, Chrysler sold 53,337 standard Challengers; 6,584 SEs; 3,173 convertibles; a bit over 1,000 T/As; and 19,938 R/Ts (including convertibles and SEs). In all, 83,032 Challengers were sold; 60% had the base V8, and nearly 90% had automatics. Styled wheels were more popular than big engines; and the slant six seems to have outsold Hemi and 440 Six-Pack combined.

I don't know how accurate this info is.  They didn't keep track of multiple options on the same vehicle.  There is no way to know how many R/T SE's there were that were painted burnt orange with a burnt orange interior.

Chrysler never kept detailed records like that.  You can find out how many R/T SE's were made....you can find out how many burnt orange cars were made....you can find out how many 383 cars were made.  However, you CAN NOT find out how many burnt orange R/T SE's were made with a 383.  Those records were never kept.

I thought the detailed records were kept, but all of the muscle car era records were lost in a fire in the late 70s, early 80s. So that all that remains are the compiled figures as show in the above link. I also know Cerebus gave away and destroyed a lot of records as well.

I also thought Galen's database was of cars that he had hijacked vin info on or had vin info submitted to him by owners, ergo, his 1 of 20 claims are based on cars in his database, not total production figures.

The "rumor" is that there was a fire.  However, I don't think anyone has ever found any evidence that a fire actually took place.  Personally, I think the fire story was just something someone came up with because 1. The records were thrown away or 2. They never existed in the first place.

MIne is a 70 R/T SE 383 4 spd  & is 1 of 400 , As I recall 383 /727 was one of 2300 approx build , there is % for color but no exact # s

Thanks to all who replied.  That was pretty much the info I had found but was hoping someone with more mopar experience knew something.  Well, she isn't an investment to me anyways, probably go to my youngest grandson after I'm gone.  Thanks again.

Off topic but what I found interesting about the chart above was that sublime was favored probably 20 to 1 over Green go in 1970. I didnt know that. And yet they discontinued sublime in 1971 but still offered green go. No wonder their sales went down! 
Have a chart like that for 1971 cudas?

Actually, there was an slight recession in 1970 to a degree that when the'71 models came out, not many folks wanted to drop the coin on them. Combine with a widening trade deficit, a doubling of inflation, the last of E body big blocks, and the change from gross to net horsepower and 1971 was set as the last year of the golden age of muscle cars.

this number surprises me.  I know of course manuals are much more rare, but only 10%?  would've thought closer to 20-25%

Green Go wasn't available until late February and since it wasn't in the brochures most people weren't aware of it.
