Yearone Mopar Rallye wheels

Hello all,


  I need some advise. I am lookin at the Yearone Mopar Rallye 17X8 or 17X9 wheels for my 74 cuda. Has anyone bought these wheels? If so, any good or bad issues with them? Also, which one's should I buy and use on a stock setup?? I don't know a lot about wheel back spacing.
 Are there any other places that sell these style wheels?  Thanks for any help!!!!

I have the 17x8's on my 70 Challenger.  I'm really happy with the way they look.  I have a stock setup and the fit is a little tight but its doable.  I had to raise the front a little because it was rubbing on the fender, and rear is really close on one side but my old leaf springs are probably sagging so they need to be replaced. 

One downside for the wheels is that they seem to be very easily scratched and I actually had to send a few back because they arrived with small scratches.  Year One was really good to deal with and they replaced them no questions asked.  Also had to return one because it was out of round when trying to balance it.  Year one needed confirmation of this in the form of a picture from the balancing machine, but sent a new one out immediately.

Anyone get these and see a different dropped shipped address on the boxes when they arrived?

Or was it shipped direct from Year One?

I think they are made by Wheel Vintiques http://www.wheelvintiques.com/view-catalog I know that the ones sold at Summit Racing and Jegs are wheel vintiquies.

I have two sets here, but unfortunately no boxes and the rims have tires on them already. There are lots of casting marks inside, but none of them say "made in..." They do have YearOne casted on the inside.

Here's my opinion....On their web site...I can't find "Made in the USA" ....so I would possibly assume they're not.

I have them on my 70 cuda. All stock suspension. 17x9 in rear 17x8 in the front 245x45 in front 275x40 in the rear. they fit great no rubbing car tracks strait and look really nice without straying to much from the classic rally's.

I switched from stock Rallies to year one 17x8 front and 17x9 rear.
245/45R17 front and 275/40R17 Rears. Front and rear both measure 25.7" tall.
My avatar pic is with 245/60R14's all around. The sig pic is the Year One 17's
Tires are Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval Indy 500 Ultra High Performance Summer "W" speed rated.

I love 'em! 

They offer 70, 71 and 72-74 style center caps too to finish the look you want.

Packaging doesn't matter. As a major reseller, I'm sure YO has enough clout to have empty boxes sitting at the manufacturers site for shipping direct to customers. This is not an uncommon practice among OEM manufacturers, irregardless of the industry.

The rims also have "YEARONE" casted on to the backside. I'm not suggesting they are the manufacture, but I'm pretty sure they have an exclusive on this particular style of 17" rim.
