OK, what's the most memerable song
« on: February 22, 2015 - 12:21:50 AM »
You have ever heard in a MOPAR from your younger days?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qon305OynVU Sorry LONG version.
There has to be a few cool songs that tie you to your MOPAR? lol.

This was when car stereos were starting to become the rage, and big amps and speakers ruled! lol. I had a '73 Charger, and put 4 6x9 Pioneer speakers in the rear deck, and had 4 1/2" coaxials in the door panels.
Can't remember what the amp was.

Come on, you all did it back in the day? lol.

Loudest song I ever had was "Turn Me Loose" by Loverboy or Sweet's "Fox On The Run" It would almost run you out of the car.
This was in a '73 Charger. We used to have parties in the fields, or down by the river away from everyone, and I would open up my trunk and everyone just partied.
Other MOST memorable song was Girl On The Moon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOk_YChsam8  absolutely hypnotyising while you were in the back seat in the middle of nowhere..
{oo/-------\oo} In '69 I was twenty-one and I called the road my own. I don't know when that road turned into the road I'm on. Jackson Browne

Thin Lizzy – The Boys are Back in Town. Hanging out with friends at the local pizza joint.  :ylsuper:
Rush – Red Barchetta. Always a fun song to drive hard too.  :burnout:
Sammy Hagar- I Can’t drive 55. in a Mopar who can.  :dunno:

Replaced the AM only and single speaker in my 69 Fastback Barracuda in 1983 with 100 watt x 4 Hifonics amp, 2x10" Subwoofers and ADS 6x9" plate speakers in the doors. Still got to be one of the best sounding and loudest systems I ever had.
