The reason for asking is that I used the Biltema one once for "converting" some surface rust but I cannot say that I was happy with the result as the surface rust came back a couple of months later.
Perhaps my prep-job wasn't good enough, don't know...

I've heard that the Eastwood Rust Encapsulator is the best but haven't tried it myself. Dunno how many places that stock Eastwood products around here though, but there was at least one company south of Sundsvall that used to sell them.

Check out my blog at www.my72challenger.com

Thanks for letting me know! I will look for the Eastwood products.

Nice work you did with the dashboard by the way!

No video.  Just words.  Could you please repost your video.

Awesome job your doing!

Trying to repost this video of the boys stripping paint of the car. It just won't work and I cannot understand why. I'm doing exactly as I have done before but It's keep saying Youtube is updating bla. bla.. WHY?? anyone knows? In the preview it works fine but not when posted... I'm going crazy over this :)

I love your ratchet strap idea to pull the panels together. I'm gonna have to use that trick on my car!

Way to go! Anybody who's ever put on 2 full 1/4's, an upper and lower body panel AND the deck lid- will vouch that it's not an easy job to get right. You're making fantastic progress!

Aha you noticed that   :) I had to pull them together because I wanted a perfekt fit against the upper deck lid, filler panel or what ever it's called but It didn't work out. Had to modify filler panel by hammer and dollying in about 2 mm partly on each side to get same shape as panels and in order to get gaps of 5-6mm (sorry for using mm instead of inches) on each side of trunk lid and at the same time I also had to push rear end of 1/4's apart by 3-4 mm to get the gaps between trunk lid and 1/4's parallells.
You probably would need to do the same trick on your car, what is not shown on pictures is the use of the hydraulic Portopower to push panels apart, sorry for that. That can be done also without the hydraulic tool.

Thanks for kind Words!
Yes, had to fit all panels, doors, fenders and hood to be sure every gap was fine Before final welding. Several hours of bending and adjusting also Before welding. Theese were all Godmark panels exept for rear valence, that was AMD. Perhaps other Products are better I'm not sure.

It's been a while since I last posted som pics of progress. Partly because there has not been much progress. car was not ready by the summer. But the boys and I made some efforts, painting engine bay, trunk area and the inside of the car. Almost forgot engine, gearbox and front end are there as well.
First some pics of the dented roof. Sanding carefully revealed a old custom paint under two layers, perhaps anyone recognizes this paint job. Wonder what the entire car looked like in that paint job.

Awesome Progress... Been there & know what it takes... Good to see your boys involved.. :clapping:  My only warning, you might regret that deep oil pan.... I'd suggest a Hemi style pan & a skid plate welded to the K member..
