Awesome Progress... Been there & know what it takes... Good to see your boys involved.. :clapping:  My only warning, you might regret that deep oil pan.... I'd suggest a Hemi style pan & a skid plate welded to the K member..

Thanks  :worshippy
Bought the engine with a B-body oil pan so this is some old stuff i just use for dust protection. I will have to buy a new oil pan and pick up.

Looks fantastic. Have enjoyed the videos for the past year or so, wish I had the patience and skill to do the same on my car.

Here is the next clip where I try to fix the oil canning dent on the roof. The idea is to restore the stability and tension in the roof, which is completely gone in several spots. Sadly camera stopped to record but there where other spots to fix and i used the same procedure. Roof is not entirely done in the clip. I have also done some lead soldering to right side and I will go over the roof again with hammer and dolly.

Thanks! Yes, the small garage.... stumbling over cables and hoses, can only work at one side at the time and so on.
At times I almost loose my mind,  :pullinghair: but then i take a deep breath or a cup of coffee and then I get back to work. But we are planing to build a new garage.

The work you did on dents. That's what I call professional !   :2thumbs: Most auto shops just put filler and continue...

Thanks! Yes, thick layers of filler is maybe ok on show cars, and it is used a lot ( :eek4:) but will eventually crack on cars that are driven. The dents in the front of the roof was not visible, only a small crack was, but under the paint there was 1/4" of filler. The crack was down to metal, which had started to rust underneat the filler.

I am thoroughly enjoying this thread.  your videos are awesome!

Sucks that the camera went dead on the oil can routine.  But i got the gist of the process on the follow up.  :2thumbs:

Trying to save a pair of rusted and dented old fenders.
Restortion continues... slowly.. Here are some pics of my fender restoration. First I tried to fix the dentet front with a bezel as model for the shape. made some patches and disassembled the whole fender. Making some new parts and removing rust with a mix of water and citric acid. Last picture is the patched fender with some black guide coat to easier spot and fixing dents.
