Where to find dash pieces/parts? Are they reproduced?
« on: February 25, 2015 - 07:31:38 PM »
I am needing to locate a heater/AC control assembly (chrome is bad on the push buttons), the trim around the factory radio opening, and a wiper knob.  Are any of these reproduced?  Or who can replate the AC controls?

(Wiper knob was there when removed but now is MIA) :banghead:

I know Roseville has some used stuff sitting around. Talk to Jon, he told me he thought they had a few used heater control boxes. You can buy repo buttons but the price is poisonous.

Wrong one dfrazz, that is for a non rally cluster.

Slotts rebuilds everything you are asking about and even switches and stuff. JS restorations in Filly. He had a site posted here on the business section   give him a call. You wont be sorry

You are right Al, I'll just take it off.  Dave at Roseville did set me up with a couple trim pieces.  I would try him too.

Being I am :clueless: on E-body stuff.  Does anyone have the part number of the face plate piece that goes around the radio?   Are they different from rallye and standard (non-rallye) dash cars?

Slotts posted on Moparts that he's really busy and isn't taking on any new work right now.  He has also stopped doing any trim restoration.  Once he gets caught up, he will start accepting new work.

All ebodies have that trim, the outer bezel is the tough one to get, some are radio specific and some are yr model specific

Dont sweat the small stuff. I could call jim for you. He may just have some of the stuff in his garage. And may be willing to just swap it out for you.  ya never know.
