The DR that treated my toe for diabetes was a fairly young guy. In his 30's? We got to taking about cars, and he told me that he had a '81 that he rebuilt the engine himself,
So I tested him, and told him that the ONLY Corvette that I would EVER own is a 1983 - the "rare one"! lol. 
He gave me a strange smirk and started laughing.
THAT"S when I knew he was a true car guy!

The whole thing started because I saw a '79 or so Pontiac Firebird parkked in front of the Hospital. I asked the Doc if it was his. Not his, but another Docs car. lol.

Turns out there was an '83 after all?

At least it's cool to have a Dr be a car guy! (Kudo's for one that built his own engine!) My GP owns a newer Challenger R/T.

And it was even cooler that he "got" my reference to the '83 'Vette. At least he knows his stuff! The nurse was clueless, wondered why we were laughing, and I had to explain it to her.
