I've read people saying the 47RH can only fit behind the cummins v10 diesel, which is where it was fitted from factory.
Now I will be using an Ultra Bell bell housing adapter on the trans to make it fit behind a big block so the factory bell housing will be getting cut off.

Looking at the front pump of the 47RH it looks exactly the same as the 46RH. The ultra bell uses the front pump 7 bolts to mate up to the trans.

Is this the only thing I would need to do to make the 47RH fit ???

I'll be buying a new torque converter to suit my application so thats not an issue. I also have a spare 46RH case and overdrive housing if needed.
