News:
I had the headlight kit on my wishlist and then I got caught in a thunderstorm one night and I could not see anything because my lights were so dim. I ordered the kit the next day. Like other people have said its an easy kit to install and it makes a huge difference
Installed my kit a few weeks back - very straight forward install. Rarely drive at night so jury is still out although from what I read - should be a big improvement.
Drove home from the track last night after dark and what an improvement the relay kit made. Wasn't struggling to see the road etc at all - did notice the headlights need to be aimed some though. Anybody have any tips / tricks on aiming headlights without specialized equipment.
Good to read that the relays performed well. For aiming, there are usually a diagram in the FSM or Body guides. A nice flat spot with a wall about 20 feet away serves as a good canvas to aim headlights. I'll see if I can find the measurements.
I tried to PM and for some reason it is not going through. it sends, but I do not see it in my sent items so i guess you are not getting it. Can you e-mail me at mike@mntb.net? I would like to purchase a relay kit for a 70 Cuda with road lamps.ThanksMike
Replied to your PM's, thanks for the inquiry. IIRC, there is a box you must check when sending/composing to save a copy to your outbox/sent box.
The kit arrived today. It looks great ! And the instructions with pictures should make install easy.
Any pictures of the actual harness and where y'all are mounting the relays? Just converted my old truck to quad cab lights using relays and the output difference was awesome! Just don't want to build another one the harness building is very time consuming
haven't done mine yet. Are you going to put the relays under the battery tray??
