This is me at 2 and already a "car guy" My dad bought a 65 Barracuda 273 4v 4 speed right after I was born. The solid lifter 273 was the first car engine I can remember the sound of. In the back ground is my uncles 65 Valiant also 273 4 speed.
There are no pictures to document the demise of the AAR. It was not like things today where every one has a phone with a camera. The old 126 camera had to have the film developed and it was a real p.i.a. to just snap a bunch of pictures and then go get them developed not to mention expensive for a kid with no job.
Even the picture of me in the cuda was never developed when my dad was alive. The roll of negative was found in a drawer and we sent them in for developing a few years after my dad's death. He isn't in any of the pictures just my mom, brother, and I with the Cuda. They were a surprise to all of us when we saw them.
We had another Cuda in the yard with the AAR it was a 70 Gran Coupe convertible that I haven't mentioned because I personally cut that car up and scrapped the hulk myself. The numbers were on the pieces and the title went with it.
I understand the skepticism and if asked will provide a name and phone number for Barry to "check out"
