New Barracuda owner
« on: March 03, 2015 - 10:40:17 AM »
Hello from Westchester NY.  Just picked up a 1970 318 Bcuda convert that I hope to restore. Its a little rough but drives and runs ok. Title list 36,000 original miles but I'm a little skeptical about that.

My first car was a used 71 Challenger convert back when i was 21 and thats going back. Had lots a fun with that car but after 15 years I had to let her go when I purchased my first home. While my Chally was gone i always knew I would have another Mopar convertible one day and now I do.

Well thanks for having me, will keep in touch as things progress.

 :22yikes:Ooops! Correction 65,000 miles not 36,000

Again thanks for the warm welcome!

As you can see the previous owner did a cuda mod on the body. Its still has a 318 but not sure if its matching numbers. Will check the block once the 4 feet of snow outside my garage door melts. The fender tag does come up red with white interior so colors are correct. Rust not to bad and rails look good but can see floor has been patched so Im sure i will find a lot of unkowns once i start digging in.

Thanks
