Console - auto to manual side cut
« on: March 07, 2015 - 08:42:24 AM »
Modifying my auto console to fit the manual / standard conversion, anyone have measurements or a template.  Lots of discussion around this in previous years but many photos are gone, and no measurements.

Thanks

I made my own years ago and converted a few consoles and sold them. Do you know anyone that would let you trace theirs?
If not, here is one you can buy on ebay. $9.99

Here is my template. It is 24" long so if you print it out so that it is sized to be 24" long you will have the correct scale.
Hope that helps.
I used double sided tape to stick it to the console and a small fine tooth hand scroll saw.

If you don't have a printer that can print it out, size it to scale on your computer screen and trace it onto 2 or 3 sheets of paper taped together.
