Welcome to the site and hopefully you'll get a chance to look around and discover that you may not be able to buy 2 good 71 'cuda fenders for $3000, let alone the rest of the car- but good luck with it anyways.

Welcome to the board !! Good luck on finding your dream car, but finding even a base 1971 barracuda for $3000 will be next to impossible. Do some checking on the car and you should soon realize the 71 will cost considerably more. Even a re-pop grill is right at $1000.  Just seen a 71 Gran Coupe sell for over #18K on ebay, so you see what you are up against.

Again Good Luck!

I heard that car is coming to Ontario Canada...Which means about $26K CDN total to get it across the border, not counting transportation :22yikes:

I guess it might be possible to find a 71 Barracuda around 5000, but I'm pretty sure it will be a rust bucket with no engine or trans that needs more than 30 k for a restoration...

Keep looking!  It took me almost ten years before I found a 71 at a decent price.  Purchased several 72-74 in that time.
