Thanks guys, I was lucky to be at the right place at the right time.  PM me if anyone has a need for B-Body parts. I'm taking an inventory and will post them on other sites too.

I have a line on a '68 Charger (see pics attached) that I am going to see on Saturday and would like your estimate on its worth.  Here is what I know about the car:

XP29F8B - now has a rebuilt 440 in '08, 727 converted from column to console. Comes with #'s match 318 and trans. Org A/C car but not installed. Paint, body, vinyl top, all interior restored in '05, replaced bottom rear qtrs, trunk pan, dutchman panel. New aluminum radiator with dual fans, suspension 3 yrs old, temp gauge and horn not working, windshield 9 yrs old all other glass org. PS/PB, drums on all 4. Center console lights not working. Body and undercarriage solid. Owner said front suspension vibrates when you hit 55 mph.  Current owner has had car since '04 and is asking $16,500.

I love Chargers but have never owned one so let me know what you think and what are some key things to look for when seeing the car.

Well, speed right past that 55 mph vibration then!!

Very nice indeed!  :ylsuper:
I have a neighbor working on one he paid $25K for and I'm pretty sure if I showed him yours he would cry, so I won't...
I've seen a few go for as low as $15K but WOW, nothing that come close to looking like what you found.
68-69 Chargers are for sure one of the all time fave Mopars out there. Awesome score.  :clapping:

Thanks!  The Charger is in really great condition. There are a few paint chips but nothing major.  It has drums on all 4's so I need to swap out at least the fronts for discs.  The steering box is leaking (appears to be an O ring), the shift linkage is loose since the PO converted it from a column to a console, and the temp gauge is not working although there is an autometer gauge dangling below the dash so that will get fixed.  It needs new rear spings, I was thinking of getting +1" over stock to give it a nice stance but would like opinions if anyone knows.  The engine is very strong but hesitates around 5500 RPM so it could be a fuel line or pump, not sure. Very minor things.  The tires are 235-70 and 275-60 on 15" Cragar's.

Congrats.  Sweet deal.  I never find "that" guy.  Only the guy, after the guy, who sold it to another guy.
