Man... there looks like 3 grand in "little stuff" right off the bat before you attacked all the rust on the body.  Goodness knows what the bottom looks like.   I have the money - I am looking for one of these and cannot pull myself to make an offer of 30 for the car in this shape.  Don't get me wrong - i'm interested.  If you want to call and talk Pete, i'm open to making an offer. Plenty of good there for sure.

This car is right on the money as far as the price goes for a '71 Cuda. Finished and corrected this car will be worth EVERY penny you put in it.

Pete I wouldn't take a nickel less than your asking price , if I hadn't already found my 71 Cuda I'd be loading up the truck and headed your way.

what makes this car worth so much money?   Is it the color combination of blue on blue?

1971 Cudas are hot right now. It may not be worth the asking price, but it will most likely sell pretty quickly at that price. :2cents:

Keep in mind the Tremec 5 spd is close to a $5000 upgrade, the Dana 60 is likely another $2000.... :dunno:

I paid the same kind of money for my 71 Cuda and it doesn't have the Dana , Tremec , OR the 440. My car overall is in better shape body , interior , and it has a/c. I've seen 71 Cudas not much nicer than mine for twice the price. When I found mine I jumped on it.

You might find a cheaper 71 out there but you're going to spend a lot of time looking.

Will be interesting to see how fast this one goes and if it goes complete or in parts (eg minus the trans etc).

Yea....I'm starting to re-think my original comment....At first I didn't even look at all the pictures....I didn't realize it was an automatic car originally....

I would think low to mid $20's is more reasonable. :2cents:

I think mid-20s would be a good price for the condition of this car  :iagree:
