Well... figured I should update everybody on how it went....
We got there and drove the car into the shop. Ed (the owner) and myself went over all the problems that I had found. In the meanwhile, my buddy Jon and Gary (MoparMan440 - thanks again for hauling it up there!) took a peak around the shop at all the cars. They were paying attention to what was being said, and when Ed started playing hard ball, they came back over and stood around. Ed tried telling me that they just hung the fenders, doors, etc and they weren't supposed to align them. I looked him straight in the eye and told him that he was trying to tell me that I was supposed to align them after EVERYTHING was already painted. I said he was nuts!! Once I started throwing the hard ball back to him, he backed off and agreed that it was a miscommunication on both our parts about the alignment of panels... now, tell me something... am I wrong to assume that when you're having a BODY SHOP put your car back together, you'd think that they'd atleast align the panels, THEN paint the car... :dontknow: :gripe: :madvibe:
So, as it sits, he's got the car (we're on pretty good terms), and he insisted that he'd take care of everything...
I did have my buddy Jon do one funny thing while Ed was busy with me... he pulled the rotor and magnetic coil to my Pertonix out of my distributor... man are they in for a surprise when they go to move the car on Monday... I didn't want them driving it, so I took this idea from one of the Dukes of Hazzard reunion movies...  I'll be sitting at my desk on Monday waiting for the call on my cell phone that my car won't start... he saw me drive it in....
I'll keep you guys updated on how it goes....
