These mud flaps any good ?

I live in the country and have to drive on oil/chip roads for about 5 miles before I get to the highway and I'm tired of pussyfootin around every where I go and want to enjoy my car. Anyone familiar with these ?

Not familiar with them but they don't look to bad if you need them. I wonder about how they attach, no screws  they just clip on I guess.  I would be concerned they might fall off.

I've seen a few cars at shows that just have pieces of clear plexi glass for mud flaps. They clip them onto the wheel well lip with those black spring clips.(that hold a stack of papers together) you can't see them until you get really close and they are easily removed.  Just an idea.

Not a bad idea I dont think. My lower Q's are always full of mud/ road tar....

That was the same idea I was going to suggest.

Hot Rod magazine used to do an article a long time ago on the back page called...It worked for me.
I think that's where I first heard of doing that.

I have had cars that have clear plastic sticked on areas exposed for stone chips. Tough plastic used for comersial signs. Maybe vinyl wrap plastic could work. Applied on the area on the quarter behind the rear wheel shouldn't be that obvious compared to flaps.

Plexi will end up dirty or marked up. I always bulldog-clip rubber flaps on my E-bodies and 71 B-bodies.

Try a polycarbonite, like lexan. That's what bullet proof windows are made from.
