Now i'm excited to see what you run Ken.  If I make it to Carlile, I woud have to be in the B bodies, unless my other cuda isn't ready. I need 1 more quarter panel made yet.The cuda is a 1900 lb car though and all moly and fiberglass.  My road runner is an all street car, not sure what the weight is tho. It is being painted this month. We are close enough that we will be able to run street class at the tracks together. I went a more conservitave route though. I run 10.75 compression.in my 572  It was dyno'ed on 93 octane all in at 35 degrees.. I went with the modman 2x4 intake. And yes the intake is quite a bit lighter than yours. I also used 2 edelbrock 750's for more dependable use. At least I am hoping that anyways. Since my strokes and back problems, I just can't take much racing anymore.

Looking at my Dyno sheet, here are my numbers at peak.  By the way, you need to idle your engine up a bit., it won't carbon up as much.

5200 @ 740 TQ  and 5900 @ 778 HP    I didnt go all out like you though. I am sure yours will be killer.  .  I have a smaller lift and 270/280 @ .050  comp roller cam. set at 109 center.  I feel this will be less of a headache for a few extra miles.    Can't wait to go cruisin with ya Ken....ALAN    What stall are you using?  I am goint to PTC and dropping off my converter Probably 4500 then  354 gears is all. What it runs is what it will be.  Lets have some fun together

It looks like Sunday is the day the Beast gets it's heart transplant. 788 HP bullet replaced by a 840 HP bullet.  I hope to get the drivetrain back in it Sunday. Then it goes back home for me to install the valve covers, intake/carburetors, fuel line and throttle linkage, and install the ignition system. Yee - Haw!

Hey Ken,

When are you going to come clean with the members on here and tell them that you are actually installing a LS motor?

I don't know these guys like you do, but it appears they look up to you and when they find out you jump ship with this motor, they may become a little upset.

Do I need to contact SLOW and have him come on here and tell them the truth?

Congrats on the build.

Well, after a loooong day/evening/night Sunday, the Beast has it's new power plant installed. I have tried to post pictures, but it says the file is too large. I will get that figgered out and get them posted. I will prolly host them to my Photobucket account and link them here.    I still need to install the spark plugs/valve covers/intake/carbs, and ignition system as well as add coolant.
It sure is purdy sitting between those wheelwells......

:working:  OK, the new bullet is in, everything is hooked up and checked for leaks, all wiring is done. It is ready. I am going to see if it will fire up this evening when I get home.  Cross your fingers for me.....   :burnout:
