Can't wait to see how this ends up if we ever line up ...

"IF"? ... "IF"? ... I don't think its "if" anymore ... its now "when" ... all that's left is to work out the details as to when and where. :stirpot:

We could meet at Tom's place in St. Louis and have a cookout after we race somewhere near his place.   :burnout:  I'll bring refreshments...    :drunk:

Bring it!  :burnout:

Gateway Motorsports Park, home of the NHRA's Midwest Nationals, is only 15 mins away. Got a side of beef in the freezer, so we will get the BBQ pit fired up. All I would have to do is stock up the liquid libations. :drunk: I call my friend Lew Worden down at the track and let him know some heavy-hitters are coming to town! :cooldancing:
Cheers!

It's possible that I could be tempted to bring the car to the Sunshine State for some fun in the sun with it....  That's a lot closer to me....    :bigshades:

Well come on down     Got a drag strip out in Bithlo, or plenty of secret places I know of. Plenty of room in the shop to keep the Beast dry and clean at night.  :2thumbs:  Oh, and the fridge is always full   :drunk:

Almost instantly Waylon Jennings crooning the theme song to the Dukes of Hazard popped into my head ... "just some good ole boys ..." (can't you just here him now?) :clapping:

That's good. The ole HEMI doesn't get rolling in the 1/8. The big end is where it makes hay....    :grinyes:

Never understood those who liked the 1/8th miles, I always thought the real race was always the 1/4 mile.
