You guys can take it personally all you want....
I'm just stating a fact that "U" code E Bodies, historically, have never been sought after or sold for as much money as "V" codes, or in some cases "H" codes. Even though they are a lot rarer based on production numbers.  That is what I was referring to as "not receiving any love"  :2cents:

Of course people "love" them...We love all of our Mopars. :bananasmi

As for the advertising on my web site,  I'm not sure how stating the car is "column auto" makes a difference when this is pretty clear in the pictures. :dunno: I only cut and paste what people email me. :worshippy
I'd gladly advertise your car on there as well.

I get the feeling that you think Dave's car is somehow competition towards the sale of your car which is nonsense. Your car is an RT/SE and you've already turned down a $70K USD offer so yours is obviously in high demand, much more then Dave's car. I'm sure your "magic number" is right around the corner :2thumbs:

Alan, I don't want to take any sides here because as of yet...I don't own a classic Mopar. I do however own a 2009 Dodge Challenger R/T. I like the way that car looks but numbers to me really mean absolutely nothing. The only numbers I care about is matching numbers. I don't care how many cars were made with this color or these particular options. While the two tone paint might appeal to some because of a low production number, I don't care for them. I prefer vinyl tops. Also, when I look at an ad or Ebay auction, if any car I'm looking at has an auto on the column, then I pass it by. To me...it's gotta be on the floor. That's just my opinion but I'm sure tons of guys and girls out there like the column shift. That's what makes the world go round......everyone likes something different.

I'm really not sure I see your guy's point.

The purple car is currently priced less then the yellow car. The purple car has not sold in years, even at it's newest lower asking price. This is possibly due to the fact of it's original option list and it's lack of numbers matching, also could be due to the fact of the lower demand of the "U" code E Body.

I brought the car up in an earlier post because I think based on the quality of the restoration and the uniqueness of the options, it's a pretty darn good deal at $65K. USD.

Craig, the original poster looking to buy a car, has stated that he wants numbers matching, and I respect that...I'm still not certain about Dave's car, but I will take the side saying it's not numbers matching, and I'll move on to find other potential cars for Craig to consider.

Other then the fact I stated about "U" code cars in general not being as popular as others, I didn't say anything negative about your RT/SE, nor have I implied anything that might "hurt" your future sale, in fact I've offered a couple of times to even help advertise your car.
So you're correct...."I don't see it" :dunno:

I'm done with this topic, lets just try and find Craig a Mopar to buy :burnout:

:iagree:  The high impact colors are cool, but it's refreshing to see a simple color once in awhile. Kinda rare if you think about it.   :thinkerg:

I've found a super nice car and am no longer in the hunt. I bought Danny's (RTSE440UCODE) yellow 70 RT/SE and sent him a deposit today. I'm very happy and can't wait to get it. Thanks everyone for all of your help!!!

Well, today is the day that my new "toy" gets picked up from Danny and starts it's journey to its new home here in St George Utah. My wife and I had an almost 2 week vacation which slowed the process up a bit. It seems like it's taken forever to get to this point so I'm really chomping at the bit here to see her in person. Danny has been a GREAT help and has become a new friend. Thanks Danny.

I sure will.

This is the video one of my sons shot of the trucks delivering my '70 Cuda.  There were about a dozen kids and adults around.  These moments don't happen very often so enjoy it!
