Any one use this cam on a late model 440?
Just wondering if it's worth it and did you change lifters?

IMO there are similar cams available from other companies like Lunati that are easier to deal with

Just trying to add a little HP, without doing a full rebuild.
Add RPM intake.
See how it goes.

Dindt know Lunati had something similar

No Comment on the Hughes Cam aspect, they have their supporters & their detractors.......  On the other subject of changing lifters... It's hard enough to get a cam broken in these days without wiping a lobe when you do everything right.... Not change the lifters you might as well throw some iron filings in the engine while doing your cam swap.....  :2cents:

Talked to Hughes and they told me to swap out lifters and springs.

Always , fast ramp cams need more spring pressure & new lifters are a must along with a high ZDDP oil or break in lube
