Welcome to the site. Great looking ride! Back in '72 after I got out of high school I was looking at that same car on the lot of the local Chrysler Plymouth dealership. I ended up buying my cousins 70 Roadrunner instead only because I wanted a big block car. Anyway, I did the 4 wheel disc conversion and used Wilwood brakes. The car stopped fine before but for me it was a looks thing as drum brakes just didn't look right behind the custom wheels I used.

Same...I guess I'm going to end up with what you all call resto-mod?  Modern parts, etc.  Plan is to keep the interior as close to original as possible, which it's in great shape, and to fully upgrade the drivetrain, suspension, and such including new wheels.  Plus, I've always hated working on drum brakes, disc is much easier to work with and like you said they look much better behind expensive custom wheels than rusty drums.

I would LOVE to swap in a 392 out of a new challenger but I don't need the wife having that kind of power even though I'll probably be the one driving all the time.  She's more of the rider type!

I highly recommend working with DrDiff as he can match a setup for you based on things how you are going to use, what camshaft specs you have and such. I did the same in making the car wife friendly as she initiated the "let's get it done or get rid of it" slogan 2 years ago after having the car in pieces since 1989. She was very supportive in pushing the project along. Dr diff recommended the larger brake booster and 10 inch rear disc, and you tell him what you want for peddle feel and he will recommend the right master cylinder bore. I had stock 11.75 rotors up front so we went with the 10 inch in the rear with the for cobra calipers. From what I read, using a oem caliper, is less likely to leak when the car sits and the 10 inch rotor let's you still use 15 inch rims if you like. Also, use his aluminum master cylinder that will not leak  like the cast iron ones, and stays looking nice. If your are putting all new fluid in, consider using Silicone Fluid so when bleeding the brakes or any spills will not eat any paint. The only thing I would change is I would use the drilled and slotted discs he offers because it would look better behind the rim. Is your car auto or 4 speed because there are other things you can change on a clutch and shifter. My wife was very surprised how pleasant the car was to drive with 425hp. She was also the rider type until she got enough courage to drive the car and now she loves the attention when other people see a chick driving it...

Thanks for the advice.  Website is sort of bare bones so I'll have to call and talk to them when I'm ready to purchase.  Car is auto.

I had a install question at 11:30pm one night that stopped the process, I emailed him the question, and 5 minutes later he emailed me back which allowed me to complete the install that night...also a steering box upgrade from FirmFeel helped a lot. I went with a stage 2 box but I think I would do a stage 3 if doing it over again.

Yeah I keep reading about the steering boxes...again something new for me.  I'll look into it though because the wheel as it is now feels horrible!

I'm about 10 minutes south of Harrisburg right now, however we're getting ready to put our townhouse on the market and move into a single family home, with a garage.  Expecting our first child in May and I need a home for the car!

Congrats!!  and  good luck with the new house. I'm about an hour south of Harrisburg. Maybe we'll connect at an event or at least Carlisle.
