69 Road Runner
« on: April 01, 2015 - 07:42:14 PM »
This just came up in Ebay. A little low.....don't you think? Am I missing something here? I'm not looking for a Road Runner but this is almost too good to pass up. I have a call into street side classics along with an email. I'll keep you all posted.

Looking at the car, it's all original including 90% of the paint. How much work would it really need if you want to keep the originality and not restore it?

No idea on value, but that's a good looking car.

Not exactly sure of the value either but I know that original hemi cars are big bucks.....especially according to the NADA price guide in the link above.

This consignment dealer carries a lot of really nice well documented vehicles. Some high but some not too bad.  But most, really nice!  I love their selection of Jeeps.

Yes they do. I just feel that the price of this car is very low for an all original RR with the matching numbers Hemi. I can fly or drive there to look at the car but was looking for opinions.

Looks like a nice survivor and what you are looking for as far as originality.  I would go look at it in person so you know what you are getting and what it needs.  Best of luck!

For 1969 aren't the "A12" 440 six pack Roadrunners worth more money and more desirable which holds the price down somewhat on the Hemi Roadrunners?

Thanks dfrazz. With spending this much $$$$ it would be great to go and see the car first. I have been doing more research on the car and it seems that that is right about the going price for a Hemi RR.

You might be right about that slapshot. Thank you for the insight.

Average price for these cars is in the mid $80's. From the pictures the brightwork and some upholstery could be freshened up and make it pretty good. Spending this kind of money would require an inspection and test drive to confirm. It looks like a good buy.

What is your opinion with this Cuda for sale at Streetside, particularly the dash VIN tag.  Looks odd to me.

That VIN tag looks to be fabricated or copied from somewhere else  :dunno: :clueless:
