New Vinyl Top
« on: April 07, 2015 - 02:35:27 PM »
Looking to shine a new vinyl top.  Has anyone used a proven product that won't damage and looks good?

Or should I just leave it alone?  It's brand new.  Will not see any weather.

Thanks.

Whatever you use, dont use armoral type products/  It attracts dirt/dust that will collect like a sticky sludge in the recesses, which is why I stopped using it on both tires and my vinyl top years ago/   There is a product, sorry I forgot the exact name, I believe I got from Eastwood that really worked well without leaving a sticky residue

My dad always used Armor All on the vinyl top.  The top was still in perfect shape but had to be removed for the restoration.  Armor All won't hurt the top.  I like Formula 2001 though.  It smells nicer then Armor All.  I've never had a problem with it.

I was always told to use saddle soap on the top and it will stay looking new.
