Hey Guy's,
I rebuilt the column and coupler. Along with the rest of the car.
70 Cuda. Power steering.
Every thing went smooth
until re-installation into the car.
I was not able to maintain the 13/16 dim from the back of the coupler to the gauge hole per FSM.
The best I could do was apx 1.100. I'm maxed out on the slots on the column braket to dash and pushed fwd on the can (to move inner shaft fwd) as much as I could with fear of colapsing the shaft.
Am I ok with this longer dim?
