No,
stopped just a few thousand short of my reserve, so Im relisting in a couple days on ebay. Still have a couple guys seem to be very serious though, trying to put enough money together maybe?
What concerns me about ebay is people with these bids who never ask any questions, and almost for sure have never seen the car, so its no wonder a lot of winning bids turn to vapor after they win. Especially people with zero feedback score or history

The problem with ebay and cars is that they are non-binding and folks can just opt out. Unfortunately it happens all the time but hopefully for you Tommy you find someone really interested in your Tribute and follows up.

You 440 shows really well on ebay and I wouldn't be surprised if it moved quickly from here.

EBay...is strictly an advertising tool, don't pay any attention to the bids or bidders...It's the cheapest and fastest way to get the WORLD to see your car

The next to highest bidder was from the UAE. Since bidding ended I have had 3 people email asking what the reserve was. I just told them it came close, and I was relisting in a couple days.
Good thing is I am still really enjoying the car, and yesterday I won a "unanimous" best of show at a local charity event.
Seems I pissed off a couple guys with other matching numbers type cars. I cant believe some people take something like that so seriously.

Seems the pictures of my car have turned up in a scam ad in racingjunk. For sale for $20k.

Only thing you can do is to let the admin know about that scam.

From the ebay it looks like the car has sold. But the highest bid was not so far away from what you were offered last time. Is that satisfactorily?

Bids on ebay twice crapped out a few thousand short of my reserve, but two of those bidders have since offered slightly more.....even closer. I believe I will have the car sold within a week, but I have thought that before.

But I did lay two small stripes for the memories.

I'll let him come on and say if he wants. Car wont probably get to him for at least a week. Sometimes shippers take the long way. It is in the US though.
