    Looking for ideas on where to mount 2lb fire extinguisher.

    I have 2 5lb fire extinguishers mounted in my trunk and looking for some ideas where to mount to add a 2lb bottle inside the car for quick access.

    If you dont have a console than definatly between the seats(right behind the shifter). If you do have a console than I would either put it on the transmission hump between the console and rear seats OR under the glove compartment (mounted to the underside of the dash).

    I useed to have mine mounted on the passenger side of the hump where I could grab it going down the road if need be and yet not be in my way the rest of the time (passenger has plenty of room without kicking it all the time too

    Good idea with the fire extinguisher.

    I was thinking of a sprinkler system but it took up to much head room.
